ECHO, THE AWARD WINNING REPORTING SOFTWARE
The ECHO® (Engine Condition Health Online®) program is software written entirely in-house and developed to enhance the reporting capabilities of our laboratories.
- Analysis results can be emailed to customers in a PDF format but ECHO reporting is a more suitable alternative for large customers and has proven to be an invaluable aid to fleet maintenance facilities.
- ECHO has been thoroughly tested by our IT developers, chemists, reporting staff, and externally by some of our largest customers. It is a continuously evolving program with regular improvements based on customers’ feedback.
- The program can be operated from a single computer or networked over a company's LAN in order to be shared within a technical department.
- The ECHO reader program provides the ability to trend, graph and view oil analysis results, giving users a detailed picture of equipment status.

- The software is user friendly and immediately flags any equipment that requires further investigation.
- Alert levels, based on equipment manufacturers’ specifications and Spectro analysts’ years of experience, are also included.
- The oil analysis results are sent via email, typically within 48 hours of receipt of samples, and can be read in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Danish, Portuguese, Swedish, Norwegian, Icelandic and Finnish.
- PDF reports can be created from within the program with supplementary comments added by the user.
- Spectro will also provide regular management reports, distribution plots and statistics to review and compare equipment or lubricant performance, equipment trends, geographical trends and limits.
- ECHO reporting software won the 2001 Technology Innovation Award from the prestigious Aviation Week & Space Technology publication. In 2004 it was presented with an ISTIA (International Superyacht Technology and Innovation Award) at the SEAS (Superyacht Equipment And Services) event.
