Aviation Sales Engineer

Jet-Care International is a world class provider of laboratory and engine trend monitoring services to the aviation, marine and industrial sectors. With three laboratories world-wide and with over 42 years in the field we are a renowned industry leader.

We are currently looking for an experienced, motivated and appropriately qualified individual for the role of our Aviation Sales Engineer. Responsible for generating new business, primarily in aviation, but also in marine and industrial sales as required; this customer-facing sales person will also maintain and enhance our existing customer relationships and contracts.

These tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Generating new business in our services for the aviation industry
  • Contacting customers to discuss services covered by contractual agreements, and additional services Jet-Care provides
  • Selling any additional Jet-Care services not currently used by the customer
  • Handle incoming customer inquiries, qualifying customer needs and questions in the most professional manner
  • Routine customer contact and contractual service reviews spanning the Americas
  • Establish new and maintain current client relationships
  • Proactively identify and resolve client concerns
  • Oversee and provide guidance to the sales administration team
  • Attend trade shows and associated events and visit customer and clients, travel is required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience in the industry
  • Have at least 5 years working in an aviation environment; airline and/or MRO experience preferred
  • Professional attitude and solid interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Must have a good standard of written and spoken English and ability to work and communicate effectively at all organization levels, both internally and externally
  • Skilled in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (required)
  • Strong work ethic, dependable, reliable and a team player
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance.

This is a full time position; hours are 09:30 - 18:00 located at our Cedar Knolls facility.  We provide full training and a lucrative benefits package upon completion of the probationary period.
