Spectro UK Laboratory obtains ABS Recognised Service Supplier Status

We are pleased to announce that our UK Laboratory has recently been awarded Service Supplier Status by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).

The successful audit took place at the Spectro UK laboratory located in Odiham, Hampshire, last week and the subsequent certificate provides recognition that as a Service Supplier it provides services that ABS Surveyors may rely on to make decisions affecting classification or statutory surveys.

"ABS recognition as a Service Supplier further demonstrates our commitment to safety and quality", said Larry Rumbol, Marine Business Development Manager at Spectro | Jet-Care.  "In addition to our UKAS laboratory accreditation for ISO 17025:2017, the ABS Service Supplier Status confirms our dedication to providing a first class analysis service to marine customers".

The Service Supplier status also shows conformity to recognised industry standards as well as validating competencies and capabilities.
