We are pleased to announce the signing of a contract with Swiss International Air Lines Ltd (SWISS), part of the Lufthansa Group, to provide laboratory analysis services to their fleet of aircraft.
The long term relationship Spectro have built with SWISS over the last 18 years has culminated in a contract which includes the analysis of oil, filter and debris samples from aircraft engines, transmissions and systems of SWISS aircraft, including their Airbus A220 fleet. The samples will be analysed and results reported through the SAS accredited ISO/IEC 17025:2018 Spectro laboratory in Kaiseraugst, Switzerland. In addition, AOG (aircraft on the ground) analysis services are also available to SWISS where 24/7/365 fast track analysis and reporting of urgent samples provides support to grounded aircraft.
“Our laboratory analysis services have become an essential part of the maintenance programs at SWISS since 2003 and over this time we have gained knowledge and expertise and an understanding of the issues they face on a day to day basis” said David Glass, Managing Director of Spectro | Jet-Care. “Our team of experienced chemists and engineers have a demonstrable track record of finding potential issues allowing SWISS to plan their maintenance accordingly”.
“The Spectro laboratory services help us keeping our aircraft flying in the best possible condition. In urgent situations, aircraft ground times are reduced to a minimum thanks to the fast analyses provided by Spectro. Their customer orientation and flexibility make it a pleasure to work with them” said the SWISS team.
